Michael M. Listick
MICHAEL M. LISTICK is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating for legal ability and professional conduct. After practicing law in Chicago, he relocated to Delray Beach, where he founded the Law Offices of Listick & Krall, P.A. He has continually practiced law in Delray Beach for 40 years.
He is experienced in all aspects of real estate, including performing real estate and title insurance closings in behalf of buyers, sellers, brokers and lenders. He has often represented developers of residential and commercial real estate developments. Mr. Listick has created many condominium and homeowner associations and often advises them.
He primarily helps clients with their real estate and estate planning needs. Mr. Listick regularly meets with individuals regarding estate planning. He believes that it is necessary to understand each client’s unique family situation in order to properly prepare documents, such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, medical directives, and the like. By getting to understand individual goals and family situations he can better achieve his clients’ objectives and see that their wishes are honored.
Mr. Listick was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Accountancy, he attended Northwestern University School of Law for his Juris Doctorate degree. In Chicago he worked for a law firm and a privately owned corporate conglomerate. His work included contract negotiation and representing claimants in Chicago and Washington D.C. Upon relocating to Florida, he became known for his ability in real estate and probate, wills and trusts. He has given lectures to various organizations on the subject of estate planning.
For many years he represented the local real estate brokers association and individual broker’s offices. His participation in committees of the Florida Association of Realtors and the Florida Bar Association have included membership in the Florida Association of Realtors/Florida Bar Association Joint Committee and the Palm Beach County Bar Association Realtor Bar Joint Committee.
Involvement in community and civic organizations has always been a priority. His leadership roles have included being Chairman of the Downtown Development Authority, Chairman of the Downtown Delray Marketing Cooperative and Chairman of the Delray Economic Leaders Political Action Committee (“DELPAC”). In addition Mr. Listick has been on the Board of Directors of several organizations, such as the Delray Beach Public Library, The Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club. On countless occasions he has philanthropically donated his legal skills to churches, synagogues and charities, resulting in honors from the City and local organizations.
Mark L. Krall
MARK L. KRALL is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating for legal ability and professional conduct. He has been with the Law Offices of Listick & Krall PA for over 30 years.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate. He specializes in real estate closings including acting as the closing and title insurance agent. He has represented sellers, buyers, financial institutions and developers at both the residential and commercial level. He has also represented various businesses and restaurants on Atlantic Avenue and AIA in Delray Beach.
He has done extensive work in the area of estate planning for individuals and married couples. He has drafted numerous wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney and health care proxies. He has considerable experience in high end estates including the minimalization of U.S. Estate Tax Liability along with trust administration and the preparation and filing of U.S. Estate Tax Returns.
Mr. Krall was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, moved to Miami, Florida in 1969. He graduated in three (3) years from the University of Miami, with a Bachelor of Business Degree, majoring in Accounting. He graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Law, with a JD degree, and graduated from the University of Miami School of Law with an LLM Degree in Taxation. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982 and also admitted to the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida. Upon graduating from the University of Miami Law School, Mr. Krall was employed by Price Waterhouse, Miami, Florida from 1982 to 1984; the law firm of Rhoads and Sinon, Boca Raton, Florida from 1984 to 1987 and finally the law firm of Listick & Krall PA., Delray Beach, Florida from 1987 to present.
Upon making Delray Beach his permanent home in 1987, Mr. Krall became actively involved in numerous civic and community affairs. He has served on the Board of Directors for United Way and the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce. During that time he was also Chairman of the Legislative Affairs Committee for the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce which initiated the Vision 2000 Plan for the City of Delray Beach. He was also Chairman of the Conservation Task Force, Comprehensive Plan for the City of Delray Beach, and was involved in the drafting of the first Comprehensive Plan for the City of Delray Beach. Mr. Krall has been an active member of the Planning and Zoning Board for the City of Delray Beach for several years including terms from 1990-1993; 2002-2006; 2010-2012; and 2014-2018. His participation on these various committees and boards over the years has been instrumental in leading to the success the City of Delray Beach experiences today.
